The brief, the light, the result
Salten makes swimwear for people who swim in cold water, so we refused a heated pool. We shot at Hossegor at 6:40 in the morning, with a water-safety lead, two models and a camera in a housing, all in the sea.
Wet hair and cold skin do things a mist bottle cannot. We let the models set the pace, shot in bursts between sets of waves, and pulled 412 frames in ninety minutes before anyone’s lips turned blue.
Three hero images now carry the brand in eleven markets. The out-takes became the brand’s first print book.
