A call sheet is the single page everyone on set actually reads. Ours goes out 48 hours before call time, and it answers the questions people otherwise ask at 7 am.
What is on it
It lists call times by department, the shot list in shooting order, the lighting plan for each set, the nearest pharmacy, and who signs off each frame. It does not list anything that might change; those go in a separate running order.
We attach the lighting diagrams from our plans, so the assistants can pre-rig before the first model arrives.
